On the second day of our Cardigan trip it was the day that we planned on going to the peaks we got up on time got dressed and went downstairs. We had breakfast and made our lunches. After that we went back to our rooms and got in our hiking gear, and met our groups at our meeting spots. Then we got ready for the hike we had a snack person,water person, leader and navigator. That was when we left my group went up Firescrew across to Cardigan and back down. Every now and then we would stop and sketch. We stopped at a few cool places like the streams, when we first got into the boreal zone and at the top of both mountains. When we got back to the lodge we got in our pajamas and waited for the other groups to get back. When everyone got back we had dinner and went up to our rooms for 15 minutes to get ready for the fire. After about 15 minutes we went out the fire and we acted out skits. When we came in we listened to more of Mr.Woolners stories and then went to bed. In the paragraph above there is a lot of region involved like the boreal zone is its own region. A region is an area that is described by what is in it like its characteristics. The example of the boreal zone fits this because as you are hiking you can see the change in the trees. The boreal zone is not the only zone on Cardigan mountain another one is the alpine zone this zone is when the mountains is tall enough that it can be used for alpine sports like skiing and snowboarding.
